These reports have to be built to the Virginia Fusion Intelligence Heart inside of 24 hours of getting an incident.

Moreover, the laws demands the Main Data Officer (CIO) of the Commonwealth to convene a workgroup of point out and community stakeholders.

The workgroup, which started off meeting in May possibly, is examining existing cybersecurity reporting and information-sharing techniques and will make recommendations on greatest techniques about these kinds of stories.

The second piece of laws will renovate the Information and facts Know-how Advisory Council into a system with associates from the non-public sector as nicely as legislators, will increase the range of council customers and provides cybersecurity to the ITAC’s advisory space.

The council is predicted to get started meeting later on this year.
